What is it like to live in Australia

What is it like to live in Australia?
I've always wanted to go there. I want to move around a lot when I grow up, is Australia a nice place to live?

I have travelled extensively all around the world and this has made me realise how fortunate I am to be able to call Australia my home. As well as having one of the best standards of living in the world, the average Aussie has a great lifestyle. It is a big beautiful country without too many people and with almost no poverty. It is a safe, clean, multicultural country where most people live harmoniously most of the time. Australians are generally pretty easy-going friendly people who have a great sense of fairness and mateship. We have a decent minimum wage (around $15 dollars per hour). We don't have too many religious nutters and we don't have too many guns (the government bought most of them back from the populice 10 years ago after a mass shooting). We have a lot of very unique flora and fauna not found anywhere else. We obviously have a huge coastline so there are a lot of beaches for only 21 million people to share. Our economy is booming. There is free health care. The only downside is that when we travel (and Australians are really big overseas travellers) we have so far to go to get anywhere else.

IM with Liz My hubby & I have traveled and there are few places I would consider living outside Australia. & they are in NZ. Aussies & Kiwi's are luckier than they know sometimes.
