Well I'm trying not to be bias seeing as I'm Australian and all. But I still have to say Australia. Australia has no war, troops marching the streets etc. We're lucky, much luckier than Iraq at least. It'd be safer for you in Australia plus unless you speak Arabic and/or Kurdish it'd be difficult to communicate with pupils (unless you ether had a translator or were merely there to teach to English). Australia speaks English, though we have no official language everybody speaks English (often along with another language) so Australia would be easier for you. It's interesting to me you've been offered so much to teach in Australia usually teachers only earn between $50,000 and $70,000 per annum. Consider yourself lucky to have gotten such a good offer, I could get it if you were going to be a prinicipal at some private school but either way $120,000 per annum for a teacher in Australia is excellent wages and lucky too, Australia has a high cost of living (nice living, but expensive).

They are both beautiful, Canada you got Vancouver, Toronto, Quebec and many other parts, they are gorgeous and for Australia, it depends if you want to live that far away, there are lots of immigrants there, I think it'd be harder but do your research on google.
2 :
I personally prefer the Canadian lifestyle. That's my choice.
3 :
I think they are on a par with each other exept one is cold the other hot.
4 :
These are both countries constructed by European people so they are the most sophisticated places on Earth; however, why not go to an Islamic country?, they are not all backward wacko lands 1000 years out of date

Hi, I cannot talk about Australia because I dont know-but I can tell you about Canada: it has publich health, public schools...which are all pretty good. As for seasons well you'll get used to the Winter, but there's also a very hot and humid summer, fall and spring. It has a large immigrant community, as for transportation it really depends on which city you are, but most of the big suburban cities have good transportation. It has beautiful parks, and amazing scenery! Every inch of Canada is beautiful really. As for shopping-yes every city has access to grocery stores, malls etc as far as low accomodation it depends again on the city-prices vary greatly. As far as IT jobs.. well we're still in recession and Im not sure.. you should look at the immigration website to check the jobs that are in demand here in Canada. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp good luck!

There is No country that you can be happy if you not prepared to live within its culture and beliefs. If you are happy living in a western European Culture peacefully then it is worth asking these questions.

Whats Australia like to live in

Whats Australia like to live in?
Well im young and considering quitting my job in England to do a sailing course on the Whitsunday Islands in Queensland. Is Australia good? Has it been affected by recession? Also if i went there and decided to go back to my trade (electrical/electronics) Is there any way of someone young getting a job and settling in without a family?

Australia's a nice country. The weather's great and the people are nice. Hope this helps.

I have lived her all my life so it is what I know but I also know it is something special. A lot of english people come out here to live and most are happy but a lot have problems adjusting to the life as it is so different from Europe. You need to be very aware that is substantially different though very similar in a lot of ways and distance from Europe does make you feel isolated from the rest of the world. but it is home and I love it

Great place down under- good weather. The Whitsundays is gorgeous and a relaxing/peaceful place to live in.

Australia is great to live. I'm not totally sure, our government is pretty lame, but they tell us we didn't go into recession. Its very laid back here. I have a friend fro England who lives here now and she says the weather is better, and even the dodgy places here are safer then the good parts of her village. You might suffer a bit if you're in the Whitsunday's from the heat. Good days are 35 C in summer. But you'll get used to that. Trade jobs are always in high demand here, especially if you have experience, so you shouldn't find it to hard to get a job here if you go back to being an electrician. And its easy to make friends, especially up north, with all the backpackers and people going out a lot. Its a very easy place to live and make friends.
5 :
Australia is looking for good trades people and you not have any job problems at this time . Food is affordable fuel is up prospects are good for dedicated workers rents are a bit up but coming down ~~

Australia is less affected by the recession than most places, and if you are a electrician, and interested in settling in Queensland, there's plenty of work to be had as they rebuild following the floods. But the visa on which you come to do a sailing course will undoubtedly not allow you to work. I doubt that you can decide you like Queensland and just settle down. You can talk to a migration agent but the likelihood is that you will have to leave Australia and apply for the visa you want from outside Australia. If you are young, and have a qualification in a trade that is in high demand, your chances are pretty good, but it will still take some months.

the difference? I can't see much difference they are almost twin brother who live on different side of the world but australia is more passionate about their religion than Canada whose got one of low percentage of people who are part of religion in the world

Which country one is best in context of free child education, free health care, good atmosphere, best Immigrants law, secure life future and job prospects. they both have free child education, free health care, good atmosphere, very strict immigrantion law and secure life future. BOTH countries do NOT have good job prospects right now. There is a world wide recession happening you know.
