Where is the best place to live in Australia

Where is the best place to live in Australia?
Ok so following up on my last question: Where is the best place to live in Australia? I believe there is territories isn't there? If so, I'd like to be in a place not completely isolated from everyone, but also not necessarily in the city. Preferably a place pretty civilized, and plenty of people. I would also love to be near beaches and beautiful scenery. I have to be in a place where I can find a job (undecided so far, but I'm leaning towards something in sports medicine.) Thanks and sorry for being so picky!

Somewhere in victoria. It's the foot ball capital, it got a high population, but the further you go from the city the more secluded it gets. It gets very hot in the summer, but also snows in the winter, so you get a range of whether. There are many beaches, particularly near Philip Island, where there are several surf beaches (if you go there, go to smiths beach :) There are still several forests, which you cannot find in other parts of Australia (because of logging) It is also commonly home to many different species of Australian wildlife. Hope i helped :)
