Do people who live in Australia have furnaces in their homes ?
I know this may sound like a stupid question, but do they ? its for a school project.

No we don't,just like we don't have underfloor heating A lot of homeowners just use the reverse cycle of their airconditioners for heat whereas i use a portable electric heater. My parents have a old oil heater that is fixed into their lounge room wall with the tank on the outside but gas seems to be used mainly for those type of heaters these days and you might find the odd pot belly stove in kitchens
