Apart from migrating on a partner visa, the only way to qualify to live and work in Australia is to have qualifications and experience in an occupation on the Skilled Occupations List (SOL). You must also obtain a positive skills assessment from the body responsible for assessing your occupation and you must pass a points test and meet health, English language (if not a native speaker) and character requirements. Here is the SOL: http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1121i.pdf And then continue with the following booklet which contains information on the points test and the whole immigration process in an easy to follow format: http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/booklets/books6.htm For everything else including costs and how to apply, go to: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/ If you're aged between 18 and 30 and a high school graduate with a US passport, Australia has working holiday arrangements with the USA that will allow you to travel and work at any occupation for up to 12 months: http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/working-holiday/462/usa/

Emily was already an experienced actress in Australia signed to a major agency before she ever did a film in the US. She had already appeared in numerous Australian productions http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0115161/ and was either nominated for or won a Young Actors Award for her work in Australia http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0115161/awards The only way to qualify for a visa to work as an actor in the US is if you can prove you are already an established actor overseas represented by an agency http://www.los-angeles-immigration.com/O_visa.php are the requirements

Hey there, i'm 16 years old and i do some acting. I recently stared a background position in twilight as one of the vampires. It was so much fun. To audition for that film my agent sent me the email of the casting director. So me and a couple of my friends organised a video recording of me, Explaining a bit about myself, Why i want the part and sample of my acting skills. This worked really well for me, I hope it works for you. xoxo <3 victoria

Would I have dual citizenship if I was born in England but live in Australia

Would I have dual citizenship if I was born in England but live in Australia?
My father was born in England as were my grandparents. I was born in Ely, England to an Australian mother and the family left England for Australia when I was 2. Would I still be considered a citizen? Could I move to England to live as a citizen? Thanks if you can help.

Because you were born in the UK and had a parent who was a British citizen when you were born, you are a British citizen and have dual citizenship. You can apply for a British passport and move to live and work in the UK without restrictions. Being a UK citizen also allows you to freely live and work in EU countries. http://ukinaustralia.fco.gov.uk/en/help-for-british-nationals/passports/ You must also have an Australian passport as Australian citizens are required to always leave and enter Australia on an Australian passport.
