A good place to live in Australia?My
husband and I are thinking of moving to Australia. I lived in
Yungaburra, Queensland for a short period of time when I was younger,
but I don't know much about the rest of the continent. Our dream would
be to simply travel around until we find a secluded area with lots of
nature-we don't like the city very much at all. We're both fire spinners
and we love the outdoors and would really like to find a nice place to
live. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Anywhere on the south coast of NSW is lovely.
Are you eligible to move however? You need a visa which is difficult to obtain.

You
don't say which country you from, but you need to be aware that to
migrate to Australia it's necessary to have certain work skills, and I'm
not too sure that fire-spinners are on that list. So you might want to
check out whether you're eligible to migrate here before looking for a
place to live.

Depending on where you come from, you might be eligible for a Working
Holiday Visa (WHV). This would allow you to travel around the country
and see something of Australia, and possibly use your fire-spinning
skills to make some cash, for up to 12 months. The website mentioned

immigrate to Australia your occupation must be on the skilled
occupation list,you must pass the points test,medical and character
check
the SOL is due to change in april so you need to check after its changed
you have no hope of finding fire spinner on the list

never lived there but meribula on New south wales south coast near the
Victorian border it is 1 of my favorite places in Australia or maybe
kingston SE or mt gambier South Ausralia

You'd probably
have to travel extensively to find anywhere in Australia much more
pleasant and laid-back than Yungaburrra anyway. (A small village on the
Atherton Tableland, north Qld for those who've never heard of it.) I
moved to a similar village (Kuranda) a couple of years ago after mostly
living in big cities.
This sort of question will give you many biased answers as everyone
probably has their own 'special' place. I alone could list a dozen more.

Well, Perth WA is a very nice place to go.
a safe enviorment for children too if you were into starting a family
you can get alot of houses by the coast for not alot of money, or even
if you wanted to rent you could
rent a property for around $120 maybe even cheaper there is a big world
to australia, but i reckon perth is the cheapest
in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and places like that, they are very
expensive areas to live and very up beat.
Another nice place to go is queensland where you can get a very big
house with a few acres for around $130,000 at the min.
You should definatley take a look on the website : www.rightmove.com and
just click on oversea's propertys then australia then type in your
budgets and what kinds of houses and what area's you like and start to
compare what is the cheapest and suits you the most. Hopefully i should
be moving out there in around 5 years maybe sooner.
Oh & if your a young couple, maybe the town is for you? but if your
not that old maybe mid 30's 40's the country side is for you, very hot,
and watch out for them creatures, and you will also get alot for your
money!
